Oh! Goddess-mother! Who bestows sowbhagyaa for those who pray you –
One time earlier, Lord Vishnu, by praying you, took birth as a girl(mohini), and attracted even Lord Siva, , who has destroyed the three puraas, disturbing his mind.
Manmatha also was blessed, and was bestowed with a special attractive body ( no hardware body but only software body or sookshma sareera) which, his wife Rati could only see and she could get nectar that way, by the blessings of the Goddess; even he was attracted the great sages, who were deluded by him.
Manmatha also was blessed; he was burnt to ashes by the opening of the third eye of Lord Paramasiva, since manmatha disturbed the Lord; But as manmatha was a staunch devotee of Goddess, he was bestowed with a special attractive body ( no hardware body but only software body or sookshma sareera) which, his wife Rati could only see and she could get nectar that way, by the blessings of the Goddess.
Pranatajana sowbhagya jananeem
There are famous 12 who were known as the staunch devotees of Goddess. They are, Maheswara, Maadhava, Brahama, Manmatha, Skanda, Nandikeswara, Indra, Manu, Candra, Kubera, Agasthya, Durvaasa.
There is a famous sloka in Bhagavad Gita which says –

Ye yatha maam prapadhyante taamstathaiva Bhajamyaham
Mama vartmaanuvartante manushyaa: paarta sarvasa:
As per the saying above, Vishnu, praying Goddess, became so immersed and wanted to get the shape of Goddess and got it, and then churned the amrita from the ocean of milk, and attracted the asuras while distributing the nectar. Lord Paramasiva wanted to see the mohini-form, hence once again took that form to please Lord Siva. Then Siva forgot himself and embraced the girl – it is so said in Bhaagavata puraana and other puraanas.
Ratinayana-lehyena-vapushaa
Manmata was burnt by the third eye of Lord Paramasiva, but due to devi’s blessings, he got back his sookshma sarira which could be seen only by his wife Rati.
Lalitha Sahasra Naama – sloka 84 – refers as
Hara netra agni santapta kaama sanjeevana oushadi.
Wherever there is attraction for others, there is the Grace of Goddess.
