Oh! Goddess of the fourteen worlds!
Lord Brahma does the creation of this world unendingly by collecting one of the smallest and utmost subtle sacred dust [dhool] from your Divine Lotus Feet;
The follower Lord Vishnu by his thousand heads somehow bears it, with lot of difficulty; and
The follower Lord Rudra follows the method of powdering it and applying it as vibhooti and shows us the sacred bhasma-dhaarana method.
[The Trimurtis Brahma-Vishnu-Maheswara are able to perform their duties, only due to the Grace of the Supreme Power, the goddess Para-Sakti or Pure Consciousness. Hence, to think of the Divine Lotus Feet of Goddess or to do puja for that Lotus Feet or to chant prayer about the Lotus Feet is due to Her Grace only]

The srishti-sthiti-laya process continues, but Devi is ever there as Pure Consciousnes, inside and outside and throughout the whole world, and Devi does not, in fact undergo any change and she is the I, the Consciousness , the love devoid of any hatredness in every one of us.

A song from old Malayalam film goes like this –

Mannilum vinnilum toonilum turumbilum deivam irikkunnu
Avan karunaamayanaai kaaval vilakkai karalil irikkunnu

God resides in earth, sky, pillar, and fibre; he resides in the heart of the all as the lover devoid of hatredness removing our tamasic and rajasic qualitites like kama, krodha, lobha, moha,mada and maatsarya, just as a watchman keeps the office or a big bungalow and protect from thieves, and as a lamp gives light to the environment and people around, similarly God gives us the jnaanaprakasa, by which we get out of ignorance and come to know our own real nature and get out of the bhava saagara or sorrows.
Gita refers in chapter 15, sloka 15 like this which is the equivalent of the above –

Sarvasya caaham hridi sannivishto
Mattasmritirjnaanamapohanamca
Vedaiscasarvairahameva vedyo
Vedantakrit vedavidevacaaham

I am in the heart of every one as Pure consciousness in all the three states of waking, dreaming and sleeping and always as turiya – the unstinted bliss always ; and as
smriti – remembrance – remember good deeds of others by reading scriptures and thereby getting Grace of Guru;
jnaanam – knowledge – get out of ignorance by acquiring self – knowledge and thereby acquiring Grace of God;
apohanam – forgetfulness – forget the bad deeds of others and cultivate love thereby towards all, thereby acquiring Self-Grace;
what is to be learnt from all the four Vedas is aham, the permanent happiness - (I – Pure Consciousness) only; I am the end of knowledge – (once a person knows me – there is nothing more for him to achieve), as we find a very strong reference in mundakopanishad (2-2-8) thus –

Bhidhyate hridayagranthi chidhyante sarvasamsaya:
Ksheeyante ca asya karmaani tasmin drishte paraavare

Once a person gets the drishti [vision] of the para and apara,
i.e.,the saguna and nirguna Brahman [siva-sakti], his heart – not the physical heart but the heart wherefrom knowledge starts to flow to brain and then get distributed breaks – means , it overflows with love; all his doubts get clarified beyond doubt, his karmas end – whether he works or not whether he acts or not is immaterial, there is nothing for him to do or to achieve. Of course, he will go on acting without selfishness for the sake of the world only further. This state of a person is only referred by the words in the Gita, as Sthitaprajna, Gunaateeta, Brahmanishta, Bhakta, jnaani, yogi, karmayogi etc.
His state is referred by Bhagavan Ramana Maharishi in his Upadesa
saaram, as
Hrit sthale mana swasthataakriyaa
Bhaktiyogabodhaasca niscitam

He has God or love or consciousness always in his heart, his mind is poised, and one-pointed, towards Supreme Power; he goes on doing acts without any fear for the sake of the society and surroundings unselfishly, without expecting any result out of it. This is definitely bhakti yoga, karma yoga, and jnaana yoga.
I am the vedavid – the one who knows the Vedas.
This is referred by the vedic quote
[brihadaaranyaka Upanishad 5-1-1]–

Poornamada poornamidam poornaad poornamudacyate
Poornasya poornamaadaya poornamemaava sisyate

The goddess in our heart of hearts – not the physical heart but the divine heart, is karunaamayee –devoid of any sorrow or six demoniac qualities – kaama, krodha, lobha, moha, mada, maatsarya. She is love and love only devoid of hatredness.
That is why Upanishads, at last, point to the Brahman as – you and you only [not any objects but the subject] – and hence no need of searching outside- that thou art – Tat Twam Asi.
Hence, to know ourselves, to get permanent happiness, we have to locate this divine heart, which alone is the way to success.
This is possible by offering every action [mind, word, deed – manasaa, vaacaa, karmanaa] of us unto the Divine Lotus Feet, and not by running away from life.
